Hello, I am Mira, a Journalism and IR graduate based in London, with a passion for literature. I am also a film addict with a constant wanderlust.
The name of my blog was inspired by my love for Paris - the city built on revolutions and pastries. The place where rain meets its purpose, and the sun glazes over golden, flaky croissants. Where the only appropriate companion to a book, is a pistachio macaron...

In Books&Macarons I intend to share my opinions on a range of different books, including both fiction and non-fiction. Naturally, I would love to share recommendations with fellow book-lovers, as I always find time to start a new read (so, feel free to add me on Goodreads as well).
In the words of C. S. Lewis:
"You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me."
Books and sweets go hand in hand for me, so my blog is also a lifestyle one, dedicated to the good side of life, or as our Italian friends delightfully call it La Dolce Vita!
Do not hesitate to contact me as I would love to meet more like-minded people.
Now I am off to grab a cup of coffee and keep on writing.
"There are worse crimes than burning books. One of them is not reading them" - Joseph Brodsky
